The SP3 seismic risk assessment software would not have been possible without the substantial underlying investments and developments by several federal agencies. SP3 started in 2014 with SP3 adopting and implementing FEMA P-58 (ATC-58), but SP3 now also incorporates the best available science from the following projects – FEMA P-58 Functional Recovery Module (ATC-138), FEMA 154/155, ATC-116, ATC-123, NIST GCR documents, and well as work done on the $1.64M NSF SBIR grant for SP3 development and commercialization.
