The federal methodologies SP3 is built on
SP3 would not have been possible without substantial underlying investments and methodology development by federal agencies and their methodology-development partners.
SP3 started in 2014 by adopting and implementing FEMA P-58 (ATC-58). Today it also incorporates the best available science from the FEMA P-58 Functional Recovery Module (ATC-138), FEMA 154/155, ATC-116, ATC-123, and NIST GCR documents, as well as work done under the $1.64M NSF SBIR grant for SP3 development and commercialization.
