SEAOSC Northridge30 Symposium
The SEAOSC Northridge Earthquake Symposium – 30 Year Anniversary Event was held in Pasadena, California, on January 17th, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the 1994 magnitude 6.7 earthquake in the San Fernando Valley. SP3 CEO & Co-Founder, Curt Haselton, PhD, PE, was able to co-present with Buehler Engineering’s, Ryan Kersting, SE, on recent developments in regards to Resilient Design for Functional Recovery.

This presentation was featured in Track 2 of the Symposium’s breakout Technical Discussions and served to focus on reflections of those on the ground 30 years ago and those working today to prepare for the next major quake. Experts will include first responders, building officials, engineers, and seismologists.
