SP3 Projects Webinar Series kicked off March 17th, ft Anne Hulsey

In this recording, invited speaker, Anne Hulsey, PhD of the University of Auckland, described a framework to assess the impact of safety cordons on post-earthquake building accessibility.

Building-level performance assessments in this research are obtained through SP3-Batch. These individual building results are then combined via geospatial information, considering both regional-scale ground shaking and neighborhood-scale access restrictions.

The framework is applied to downtown San Francisco to demonstrate how it can be used to probe the efficacy of various policy options for achieving resilience targets.
