SP3 Team Welcomes New Member David Welch!

The SP3 team welcomes new post-doc David Welch! David joined Haselton Baker Risk Group in 2020 after completing a post-doctoral fellowship at Stanford University. At Stanford, he worked with Dr. Greg Deierlein and David was instrumental in the PEER-CEA project, which focused on how cripple walls impact the seismic vulnerability of wood light-frame construction.
His areas of expertise include nonlinear analysis of structures, assessment of wood-frame structures, and application of probabilistic performance-based engineering frameworks.
